How to Throw a Flat Cornhole Bag

"How to Throw a Flat Cornhole Bag" Probably one of the hardest things to teach someone. The release that helps a player achieve a flat bag can come very easy and natural to some players. While to other players like myself, it takes a lot of practice and continued critiquing. In the video you will see several styles and tips to help you get started on your way to throwing a flat bag. Here is a few additional tips that I personally use to help throw a flatter bag. Also a practice tip to fall back on when my bag is not coming out of my hand as flat as I would like it to. First, when you release that bag and are working on ending with that palm facing upward towards the sky. Try leaving your arm out there as a guide to see exactly how you are finishing the throw. Secondly, if you notice your bag coming in at an angle and then hooking after it hits. Try throwing a bag with a sticky side, and throw it sticky side down. Also put a little extra spin on it and release it just a little lower than you normally would. This is a little practice routine I use to help flatten out my bag when I switch back to the slide side. Note that this routine tends to help the player that throws the slick side of a bag more than a player that already throws a bag sticky side down. Hopefully these tips help you along with our video.                                                                                                                                                                            Visit US Cornhole's YouTube page. https://youtu.be/WLJi3aq7d5A                                SJV
